1 year ago I pressed publish on this blog. I didn’t tell anyone about it for a few weeks once I had a few other blog posts under my belt, but my intro post was published December 1, 2017.
When I first started this blog I wanted it to be something to let some of my creativity out and a way to talk about books and librarianship. Now a year later I still do talk about books, but I have also found many other passions in minimalism, zero waste, cruelty free beauty, and other random topics that I have found throughout the year.
I have had many blogs throughout my life, but I could never get one to stick before, but here we are a year later and I am still loving pouring my thoughts onto this page and getting to connect with the wider world.

I never set goals for myself when I started the blog as it was just something I was doing for fun, but as I continued to write and I as I started to have some popular posts and gain followers I started to put together my goals loosely in my mind. My one main goal was to get 100 followers by the end of the year and I managed to surpass that by reaching 126 at the time of writing.
I also made the decision this week to buy a plan and domain through WordPress. Until now I had been using the free .wordpress domain and free features which have been great, but I decided to upgrade as I make this even more of a priority in my life.
2019 Goals
- Reach 250 Followers
- Collaborate more with other bloggers
- Work on my photography skills
- Branch out into more topics
- Keep working on my capsule wardrobe and decluttering series

I know I’ve never said it, but I love reading your blog. My favourite posts, of course, are about what you’ve read (Radium Girls was fantastic), but I also got some great ideas of new TV shows to watch (I love God Friended Me and Manifest) and love to hear about your other adventures and insights, which often challenge and inspire me. You really are an amazing woman and a blessing to all who know you… so thank you for being you, and sharing your heart and mind with us via your blog! 😃
